About

Donna Mitchelson began her art career when she was a child. She explored various art mediums, such as drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, animation, and graphic design. In 2007, Donna was a Boston University student majoring in digital photography. She became a documentary photographer at the Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad in Portland. Donna enjoyed photographing the restoration of vintage steam locomotives. Before graduation, Donna’s classmates suggested “Whistlestop Photos” for her business name. Years later, her business expanded to paintings, mosaics, and children’s book illustrations. Today she changed her business name to “Whistlestop Photos and Multimedia.”
